The Wall, co-written with Anne-Marie Caluwaert, has made Stage 32’s Period Piece Screenwriting Contest semi-finals.
A dark comedy set in East Germany in 1962, it tells the story of an elderly Werner, a spirited rebel with a taste for vodka and a heart heavy with loss, who discovers a new purpose when he embarks on a daring mission to guide a motley crew of misfits in a audacious escape from the confines of East Berlin to the boundless freedom of the free world.
