Bio
Dominic Carver
I graduated from Bournemouth University in 2001 with a BA (Hons) in Scriptwriting for Film & TV.

In 2008, Split Edit in Norway commissioned and produced my first short film, AGN, which later aired on the Norwegian TV channel TV Vest. I wrote my second short film, the mystery thriller The Traveller, in 2010 in collaboration with LA-based director Musaab Ag. In June 2011, I won the Prequel to Cannes Feature Screenwriting Prize for my feature Faith, a bleak, unflinching portrait of a London street prostitute. In 2024, I won the Golden Nib Award, Let's Get It Made Screenwriting Contest, Best One-Hour Drama Screenplay for The Wall, co-written with the talented Anne-Marie Caluwaert.

I have secured commissions for seven feature screenplays, most recently adapting Douglas Hill's 1980s sci-fi novel Young Legionary for Plenitude Productions.

I'm now branching into new forms of writing and actively working on my first young adult fantasy novel.
