The Wall - Stage 32 Quarter-Finalist

The Wall, co-written with Anne-Marie Caluwaert, has made Stage 32’s Period Piece Screenwriting Contest quarter-finals.

I loved writing The Wall with Anne-Marie and it’s one of my favourite projects, achieving success in multiple competitions, including reaching the final ten of Final Draft’s Big Break in 2016. A dark comedy set in East Germany in 1962, it tells the story of an elderly Werner, a spirited rebel with a taste for vodka and a heart heavy with loss, who discovers a new purpose when he embarks on a daring mission to guide a motley crew of misfits in a audacious escape from the confines of East Berlin to the boundless freedom of the free world.
